The Uruguayan company was recently acquired by a major Canadian group.

Infocorp plans to expand its operations in Latin America, especially in Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama. The company, which has been growing at a rate of 40% per year, expects to exceed that percentage by 2021.

In the specific case of Chile, where there is a software factory that provides services for clients in the Andean region, the company plans to expand its offices by incorporating new resources and adding clients.Ana Inés Echavarren, CEO of Infocorp, said in this regard: “We are immersed in a strong process of regional expansion in order to accelerate digitization in the financial sector.”

Infocorp was recently acquired by the Canadian group Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), becoming the first company specialized in technology for the financial sector that the group acquires in South America.

“It is a privilege for us to be part of this worldwide recognized group and we are thankful for CSI’S bet on a Uruguayan company for its expansion,” added Echavarren, who has been CEO of Infocorp for five years and has been working in the industry since 1993. She is the only female CEO leading a technology company in Uruguay.
